Hi, I’m Christy.

Founder of Aspire Legal Community, a community designed for Black Women in Law to reach their fullest potential. Whether you are an aspiring lawyer, current law student or new lawyer - this space is for you. Christy offers personalized mentorship for those curious about starting their legal journey, guidance during their law school application process or just curious about law.

I know what it’s like to dream of becoming a lawyer but feel like the odds are stacked against you. I’ve lived the late nights, the self-doubt, and the moments where I questioned if I belonged in this profession. I’ve also learned that resilience, strategy, and the right guidance can change everything.

I’m Christy, a first-generation Nigerian-American lawyer who knows firsthand what it takes to break into this profession—and thrive. From navigating law school to launching my legal career, I’ve learned that success isn’t just about intelligence or hard work; it’s about strategy, confidence, and having the right support.

This platform exists because I know that Black women navigating law school, the bar exam, and the early years of practice need more than just advice—they need real, honest guidance from someone who’s been in the trenches. Whether you’re thinking about law school, struggling to survive 1L, pushing through bar prep, or finding your footing as a new attorney, I want to make sure you don’t have to figure it out alone.

You belong in this profession. You deserve to take up space. And I’m here to help you make it happen.

Let’s get to work.
